Susanna and Jonny we would like to welcome you to our farm holidays "Ilune" any time of the year.

Within a range of few Km you can reach both the the coast of Mount Argentario and Mount Amiata area. On the other hand, if you prefer to have a bath in the healthy, sulphurous, Saturnia hot springs and the local Spa is only a 2 Km. drive.

The climate of this area is mild in the winter and airy in the summer, and offers many opportunities.

Interiors and Rooms
We offer a complete bed and breakfast service for our guests and upon request, dinner is also available. This includes traditional  Tuscan and Maremman with the emphasis on using only the finest local organic produce.

Each room been tastefully restored in keeping with the original style, and are decorated using traditional lime based paints and colours, and of course period and local furnishings.

75% of our daily energy needs are produced in-house with solar panels for water and electricity, and a thermal fireplace for heating and hot water.

Ilune outdoors
Outdoor facilities include a barbecue area, tables and chairs, table tennis and bicycles with which you can explore the local countryside. All around the house are many fruit and olive trees and quiet places to sit and relax.

We can also arrange for you other activities to enrich your stay, including:
Massages  here at the house by a qualified masseur.
Horse trekking with the nearby stables “Maneggio Belvedere” only 1km away
A special rate for our guests is available at the local thermal baths, only 2km away
Walking tours around the local historical and archeological sites with a guide can also be arranged, or  the adventurous can follow the indications given in the guide books pertaining to the area.
Bicycles to tour the surrounding countryside and beyond.
Tennis players are welcome to use the courts  at the local tennis club
 Other thermal baths at Saturnia and San Casciano dei Bagni are easily reached by car.

The cuisine
Here in the Maremma our daily life is characterised by the people, nature, good food and wine, long walks in the countryside and relaxing under an old oak tree.

Our private dining room offers the best of local specialities, including our own home grown produce and local organic products. Specific ingredients, like our own extra virgin olive oil, Chianina Maremmana beef, local lamb and wild boar, pecorino, cinta senese salami, and home made preserves all combine to make a truly wonderful dining experience.

Also at our agritourismo it is possible to taste some of the finest local wines, including “Bianco di Pitigliano”, "Morellino di Scansano”, and “Rosso di Sovana” all of which make for an enjoyable aperitif before a candle lit dinner. And last but not least  a sumptuous breakfast buffet including delicious homemade preserves and pastries.
