Ilune is situated at Pitigliano, a charming town in the heart of the Maremma Tuscany, an area rich in Etruscan and Roman ruins, necropolis and the “vie Cave” and many other traces of these lost antique civilizations. The building is surrounded by the farm’s own vineyards and is divided into large rooms with every comfort.

This small and charming guesthouse, located in the picturesque town of Pitigliano in the Maremma countryside, sits under the shade of an ancient oak tree. It has been created by the careful restoration of an old Tufo stone cottage, and the desire to offer an inviting and cosy haven for our guests, ideal for a relaxing holiday or romantic weekend, here in beautiful Tuscany.

The old farm building, which has been restructured recently, strictly in accordance with the original architectural requirements, is situated on a hill which overlooks the whole valley.

The guesthouse “ILune”, is situated in amongst the architectural and natural history of the  Maremma, which includes the historic towns of Sorano and Sovana, lake Bolsena,  the Terme of Saturnia, and the Parco Archeologico Città del Tufo.

The wild and rugged landscape of this area is rich with native woodlands, volcanic river valleys, rocky hills, and narrow plateaus, where traditional olive groves and vineyards are cultivated
