Specific ingredients, like our own extra virgin olive oil, Chianina Maremmana beef, local lamb and wild boar, pecorino, cinta senese salami. Also at our agritourismo it is possible to taste some of the finest local wines, including “Bianco di Pitigliano”, Morellino di Scansano”, and “Rosso di Sovana”. Olive oil In the hills of the Fiora valley, here in the Maremma, at 350 m above sea level, olives have been cultivated for thousands of years. The varieties of olive includes Leccino, Frantoio, Corregiolo and Maurino, Canino, Moraiolo and Pendolino.
Pitigliano Pitigliano and surroundings The landscape in this part of Tuscany is wild and rugged.
